Teeth Whitening

Over time, teeth can become stained from food, drink, or tobacco. Stained teeth can tarnish the natural beauty of your smile and make you appear older than you really are. Fortunately, professional teeth whitening is easier and more affordable than ever. We offer both in-office whitening and professional take-home whitening systems to enhance the beauty of your smile.

Take-Home Whitening

Take-home whitening because can be completed in the comfort of your own home at your convenience. Once your whitening treatment is complete, we will review your progress and help you decide whether you would like to achieve whiter results, or simply maintain your results.

Are You Ready for a Brighter Smile?

Making the most of your teeth whitening begins with a thorough hygiene appointment and polish. Removing any debris from your teeth ensures the gel comes into contact with the enamel of your teeth evenly. If you have chosen to use a take-home system, our team will take impressions of your teeth and make molds to use for custom trays. Your whitening trays will be unique to your teeth, with a custom fit that ensures maximum contact with the whitening gel. We will also capture the starting shade of your teeth to compare to your final shade once your whitening cycle is complete.

Is Teeth Whitening Right for Me?

Whitening is safe for most patients. The most common side effect of teeth whitening is sensitivity. Your chances of experiencing sensitivity increase if you have gum recession or the dentin of your teeth is exposed due to excessive wear. We can provide advice regarding reducing sensitivity during your consultation.

How Long Will My Results Last?

How long your teeth whitening lasts depends on your lifestyle. For instance, if you smoke, your teeth will become stained more rapidly. Beverages such as red wine and coffee can also cause stains to return. It is also recommended that you avoid these staining substances while you whiten your teeth and up to 48 hours afterward.
